There was a catalogued entry of 1354 shearling rams and ram lambs in the three Texel sale rings at the NSA sale held at Builth Wells on 23rd September 2002, which met a good, steady commercial trade.

Caebetran Invinsible, overall champion
Cennen Hi-Spec, 1st prize shearling ram

With breeders selectively picking up category 1 genotyped ram lambs to a top of 950 gns given by Drayton Farm Partnership for M & S Jones' Racecourse Ice-Cream, an un-placed late February born twin by Millend Gilt Edged out of a Highfields Award dam.
