PANTHER STALKS TO VICTORY AT GREAT YORKSHIRE!

Judge Paul Quick of LOOSEBEARE Flock, Crediton, Devon, chose his Champion ‘Baltier Panther’, jointly owned by Boden & Davies (SPORTSMANS) and R & E Forsyth (BALTIER). Messers Boden’s purchased a half share in Baltier Panther at the Scottish National 2009, Lanark for 11,000gns with R & E Forsyth retaining half share.

The Judges comments were ”he was outstanding, just what a Texel should be like, great breed character, power and hard muscling”. For his Reserve he chose Shearling Ewe from J & H Clark (GARNGOUR), which he said “showed tremendous femininity with great width and power. In general all classes were a challenge to Judge with the depth of quality well down the lines”. The Judging was enjoyed by a tremendous crowd of spectators.
