Texel Society Impresses at NSA Scotsheep
Scotsheep, staged on the 2nd June 2010 at Mains of Burnbank, Stirling
proved to be an outstanding success for the Texel Society, attracting
some of the highest attendances at the Society stand for many years.
The Society team offered Members and visitors excellent hospitality
in conjunction with the Scottish Texel Breeders Club.
An abundance of tea and coffee was served throughout, complemented
with mouth watering tray bakes which further complemented the positive
atmosphere at the Texel stand.
The Societies new promotion material
and excellent Prime lambs exhibit proved to be a major talking point
with many visitors entering the free prize draw “Estimate the Carcase
grade and weight competition”, with the winners to be announced later
in June.
The Chief Executive added that “an impressive display has
been achieved by excellent collaboration between the Society and
its local vibrant Scottish Club, showing the breed off to its full
potential.”
