A strong display of Texels at Stirling Show ensured a reserve inter-breed
ticket for the winner of the section, a ewe lamb from the Clarks’
Teiglum flock.
On her first show outing, she is by the home-bred son
of Crailloch Golden Eye, Teiglum Outlaw, and out of a ewe by Hexel
Lexus that is a full sister to a 5000gns gimmer.
Standing reserve was Alistair Beaton, Wester Crosshill, with last
year’s supreme sheep at the show, a three-crop Glenside-bred ewe
by Castlecairn Keltic Star.
